Sydney
Currently there are 4 teams playing in Sydney:- Michael Cusacks, Clan na Gael, Central Coast and Irish Australians. Clan na Gael are based in the Eastern suburbs (Bondi Area). The other 3 clubs train in the Western suburbs (Ashfield / Burwood Area) and although Coast were founded in the Central Coast (approx. 1 hour North of Sydney) they are based in the city.

There are four competitions each year:-
  • The Coast (one day event held in March - usually weekend after St Patrick's Day)
  • The League and Shield (March to September)
  • The Championship (held in September)
  • The Australasian tournament (held in October)

Michael Cusacks, Clan na Gael, Central Coast and Irish Australians have a good tussle each year. Last year at the Australasian tournament New South Wales beat Queensland in a closely fought final with NSW winning by a point. Melbourne
Currently there are 3 women's teams in Melbourne:- Garryowen, St Kevin's and Sinn Fein. The Garryowen women train in Brighton while St Kevin's and Sinn Fein train in Fairfield. All the clubs play in Keysborough and Geelong.
 
The following competitions are held during the year:-
  • The 7-A-Side Blitz (one day event)
  • The League
  • The Championship
  • The Australasian tournament (The Victoria team selected from all the clubs)

Brisbane
Currently there are six clubs in Brisbane:- John Mitchel, Sarsfields, Easts, Souths, Harps and Shamrocks. The current season starts at the end of March 2001.

John Mitchel Gaelic Football Club
